Snow Day

For five years while living in North Mississippi, I have never seen so much snow! Unfortunately, the students and teachers are looking at a shorter summer!

Ellie loves playing in the snow. It is hard to keep her inside!

A view of the backyard.

Wow, the nandinas (miniture shrubs) are completely covered!

The diving board has several inches of snow!

"Busy Bee"

Cheer is coming to a rapid end. We fly Friday to compete at the 2010 National High School Cheerleading Championship held at the Milk House at Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex February 12 - 14, 2010. The squad is ecstatic! The girls have practiced countless hours for Nationals. We return home on the 16th.

After cheer, there is no time to rest. Courtney is a Diamond Girl for the DCHS Baseball Team. The Jags play their first game February 20.

The end of February Courtney will be traveling to Nashville, TN for the Girls Leadership Weekend – worship and training in mentoring, spiritual gifts, leading bible study, finding your voice, healthy friendships, taming media, and much more. Our church has a strong youth department. The youth leaders are phenomenal!

February is full of activity for an energetic freshman teenager!
