Courtney has been extremely busy this summer. The summer starts off with a “Bang” with cheer practice EVERY week. Courtney made varsity cheer for DCHS. She is thrilled to be one of the only two freshmen that are on the squad. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday we have tumbling, Tues-Thursday practice. The back handspring did not come easy but she has accomplished! She is still perfecting the landing.
VBS started Sunday night. Courtney is Crew Leader for 7 & 8 yr. olds. As soon as she gets in the car, she describes every detail! She explains it is so "neat" for the little ones to look up to her.
In two weeks the GRUMC youth group will be leaving for church camp. Look out Panama City!
I bet Courtney is a great leader!!! It comes with being gifted!! :) Great news on the back handspring! You will have to post a video when she perfects the landing!!
ReplyDeleteIt is because she had the "Best Ever" gifted teacher! IF IF IF she perfects the landing you can bet we will have a video! The video will be a long, expensive, achievement!!
