Break
Hello, Blog friends I have missed you. I have taken a break from blogging. Every spare moment is enjoyed being outdoors. Don’t you just love the beautiful weather we are having! Love it!
Not long ago, I decided to go back to school. Yes, that is right. This 40+ mom and wife enrolled in school. Therefore, really most of my spare time is studying. I finally know what I want to be when I grow up! Ha!

Pine Tree Crosses
The Pine trees know when it is time for Easter!
The Pine trees start their new growth in the weeks before Easter—if you look at the tops of the Pine trees two weeks before you will see the yellow shoots. As the days get closer to Easter Sunday, the tallest shoot will branch off and form a cross. By the time Easter Sunday comes around, you will see that most of the Pine trees will have small yellow crosses on all the tallest shoots.

Youth Sunday
The youth led the worship service on Sunday at our church. The theme is ORANGE.
Parents are red, church is yellow, and when they come together, they get orange kids.
The youth band led the "AWESOME" music. These kids are so talented!!
Courtney, along with two other youth, performed a skit to demonstrate how parents and the church must come together to help their children develop and maintain a relationship with Christ.
Danny, the youth director, led worship! Words cannot begin to describe how blessed we are to have Danny and Rachel (Danny’s beautiful wife) leading our youth. They truly love all of these kids!

Red + Yellow = Orange

School on Saturday
The students in DeSoto County had a 60% snow make-up day on "SATURDAY"! Yes, that is right on "SATURDAY"! The students were allowed to wear pj pants. Courtney invited three friends to spend the night to make the "Saturday-school-day" a little more bearable. Friends have a way of making everything better.

Courtney, Anna, and Hannah (Allie couldn't make it)
Anna is in middle school and they were not allowed to wear pj pants.
